‘R’ driver gets caught speeding at 101mph

A driver who only passed their test 5 weeks ago has been caught speeding by the PSNI on the new Frocess Road dual- carriageway near Ballymoney.

Officers clocked the driver doing 101 miles per hour – more than double the speed limit on that road.

A spokesperson for the PSNI said ‘We will continue to monitor speeds on this stretch of carriageway and where necessary report offenders to the courts.’
