Speaking to Causeway Coast Community this evening Councillor William McCandless said “Many thanks to the Ministers council for officiating yesterday Sunday 10th June at the service of commemoration at the Town Hall and for the members of the general public for joining with us at the Council event to commemorate the 45th anniversary of the Coleraine car bombing on 12th June 1973.

I would like to remind members of the public that there will be a service of remembrance commencing at 14:40 tomorrow 12th June in the area outside Coleraine Leisure Centre. There will be a period of silence at 15:04 for a short time of silent contemplation, prayer, and reflection to pay our respects to those who were so tragically killed in this massacre.”
