Roads Policing Support Group, Maydown were in attendance in Portrush for Easter Sunday in conjunction with HMRC.

Throughout the course of the day HMRC detected 3 vehicles for illegal fuel and seized 2 of those.

Roads Policing Support Group issued:

11 Endorsable Fixed Penalty tickets were issued for various offences
5 Fixed penalty notices for no MOT and a further 4 for vehicle defects
2 prosecution files being prepared for a number of offences
27 vehicles had tints removed at the roadside and were given advice and warning
