Serious RTC occurred on the Finvoy Road, Ballymoney this evening

02.03.17. MCAULEY MULTIMEDIA. A Serious RTC occured on the Finvoy Road, Ballymoney this evening. NIFRS, NIAS, NIAS EMERGENCY RESPONDERS and PSNI were all in attendance at the scene outside Ballymoney. Fire crews from Ballymoney, Kilrea and Coleraine all attended the scene which involved two vehicles. One of those vehicles involved was carrying two adults and a child. The other vehicle carrying 4 adults had to be cut with hydraulic equipment to release the occupants who have all been taken to Causeway Hospital for treatment. A Serious RTC occurred on the Finvoy Road, Ballymoney this evening.

NIFRS, NIAS, NIAS EMERGENCY RESPONDERS and PSNI were all in attendance at the scene outside Ballymoney.

Fire crews from Ballymoney, Kilrea and Coleraine all attended the scene which involved two vehicles.

One of those vehicles involved was carrying two adults and a child. The other vehicle carrying 4 adults had to be cut with hydraulic equipment to release the occupants who have all been taken to Causeway Hospital for treatment.

The collision happened at a works entrance to a solar windfarm site.

Sessini security guards from the solar farm, contained the incident and maintained the safety of the area until NIAS, NIFRS and PSNI arrived.
