Sixth Suspect In Anti-Cocaine Operation In Coleraine Has Case Further Adjourned

A SIXTH person charged in relation to a police undercover operation targeting the sale of cocaine in the Coleraine area has had his case further adjourned to January.

Jonathan Neill (23), of Westbourne Crescent, Coleraine, appeared at the town’s Magistrates Court on December 3.

He faces three charges of supplying cocaine, three of possessing the Class A drug and three of having cocaine with intent to supply.

The five co-accused had appeared at court last week.

Defence solicitor Garrett Greene said Neill had a bail condition banning contact with the co-accused and said
District Judge Liam McNally had recently directed for Neill to appear at different court sittings.

A prosecutor said forensics and phone reports are among items of evidence still being prepared.

Neill was released on continuing bail and the case adjourned to January.
