Speeder was on way to family member who had ‘epileptic’ episode

A SPEEDING motorcyclist said he was making his way to be with a family member who had an “epileptic” episode.

Clive Spence (25) was caught doing 74mph in a 40mph zone on June 2 this year at Moneygran Road near Kilrea.

At Coleraine Magistrates Court, sitting in Ballymena, the defendant, from Princess Avenue in Cookstown, admitted speeding and was given five penalty points and a £150 fine.
