St Brigid’s PS Ballymoney is to close from Monday 16th March 2020 – Wednesday 18th March 2020 ‘due to the ongoing situation with regards to Coronavirus’.

In a letter to parents this morning it read;

Dear Parents

Due to the ongoing situation with regards to Coronavirus we have agreed to bring forward two staff development days scheduled for the end of May.

Apologies for the short notice. We appreciate that this is a very worrying time for parents.

Teachers and staff will use the time to prepare for what is likely to be a prolonged period of closure in the coming weeks and months.

Work for the children will be available from Thursday when the school will reopen as per current Department of Education guidance. If anything changes we will communicate this to parents and guardians as soon as possible.
