Starbucks Coleraine Set To Close

Starbucks, an American coffee company and coffee chain is set to close its Coleraine store at the start of September.

Commenting on the closure, DUP MLA Maurice Bradley said  “I am disappointed to learn of the closure of Starbucks in Coleraine.

Starbucks staff were told of the closure this week; it is understood that the closure is down to a rent issue at their Church Street premises.

“Any closure of a store and loss of jobs in the Coleraine area is sad. This was a very popular outlet and the closure will come as a shock to many.”

Causeway Coast Community understands that staff will find out next week if there are vacancies available in other nearby stores.

The store is set for closure around the 13th September 2018.
