Storey Meets with New District Commander

1 Mins read

North Antrim DUP MLA and Policing Board Member Mervyn Storey has met with the newly appointed PSNI District Commander Superintendent, Ian Magee.

Commenting after the meeting Mervyn Storey said,

“I very much welcomed the opportunity to be among the first to congratulate Mr Magee in not only his promotion to the rank of Superintendant but also to the position of District Commander for Causeway Coast and Glens.

“At the outset of the meeting, I paid tribute to his predecessor Superintendant Jeremy Lindsay and placed on record my thanks for all his assistance and help during his time as District Commander.

“Our meeting was also an opportunity to discuss a range of issues affecting our area from a policing perspective. We discussed at length a number of issues that are of concern and in particular recent attacks in District Command area.

“I look forward to working with Superintendant Magee and his colleagues as he takes up his new role as District Commander.
