Sugden supports Concern Worldwide as they get ready for their world record attempt

1 Mins read

Claire Sugden MLA said : “I was delighted to pull on my Christmas Jumper and support Concern Worldwide this week as they get ready for their Christmas Jumpers World Record Attempt in Londonderry on 18th December.

Alongside Children in CrossfireFoyle HospiceMuscular Dystrophy UKTearfund and Action Cancer, Concern hope to set a new world record for the number of people wearing Christmas jumpers in one place. They have set their target at an ambitious 5,000 so they need everyone’s help.

I am mindful that Christmas can be a difficult time for many people. This event will help to raise money in support of several worthy Charities.

I encourage everyone to support Concern in their World Record attempt. This is an opportunity to dress to impress with your favourite Christmas Jumper and to enjoy some festive fun while doing your part for Charity.”
