Suspected firearm along with Class B drugs seized in Ballymoney

Officers have arrested two men, aged 26 and 30 years old, following reports of individuals dressed in dark clothing and in possession of a firearm in the Ballymoney area last night.

A PSNI spokesperson said “They are currently helping with our enquiries. A suspected imitation firearm was located along with a quantity of suspected Class B drugs.

This is not being linked to any paramilitary type action at this time.”
