Suspicious male purporting to collect for the blind

North Coast Police have received reports of a suspicious male calling at homes in Coleraine purporting to collect for the blind.

A PSNI spokesperson said “Today we had reports of a suspicious male calling at homes of our elderly neighbours telling them he was collecting for the Royal Institute for the Blind.

Unfortunately we were unable to catch up with this gent to have a conversation with him regarding his activities. Please be aware of this. If he calls at your door, or a neighbours, ask him for id and call the police.”
