MR ROBIN SWANN MLA, Ulster Unionist Party Assemblyman and his party’s Chief Whip has urged the community to “be ready for any surprise winter cold snaps by having their properties properly insulated”.

Assemblyman Swann, who is also North Antrim UUP Chairman and Chair of the Stormont Public Accounts Committee, issued his plea as Northern Ireland Water launched its campaign – Don’t Wait Insulate.

Mr Swann said: “As the winter months close in rapidly, it is vitally important that constituents in all areas prepare not only themselves, but also their property to combat the effects of any sudden cold snap. This is why everyone should pay heed to the ‘Don’t Wait Insulate’ campaign.

“Given the experience which some constituents have faced in the past, particularly in isolated rural areas, I appeal to everyone in the community to get ready for any tough weather conditions which may hit us.”
