Teenager approached by driver outside Bushmills

1 Mins read

Police received a report that a 16 year old girl was approached on the Priestland Road, Bushmills yesterday at approximately half one in the afternoon.

It was reported that a male was driving a dark blue saloon car with a female in the passenger seat. The teenager was encouraged to get into the car by the occupants of the car. She declined to do so and immediately contacted her father and told him what had happened.

A PSNI spokesperson said  “Police are reminding parents to be vigilant in regards to their children’s security and ensure they are reminded not to accept lifts from strangers .”
