In just over three months, thousands of spectators will gather for the annual air display in Portrush. A no-fly zone will be imposed around the area later this summer – 31st August and 1st September 2019. The legislation was passed earlier this month.
Flying will be restricted in the vicinity of Portrush during rehearsals and air displays.
As well as traditional fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters, kites, balloons and small unmanned aircraft such as drones will be banned.
