The Caring Caretaker : 2017 Cheque Presentation Evening

Yesterday evening ( 30th January 2017 ), David Boyle MBE handed out £39,000 to six charities at the Lodge Hotel, Coleraine.  David said a special thanks to his family, the public, Rev Robert McMullan, and his volunteers who helped him hit the £500,000 mark in December 2016.

Davy has raised £524,571,25 since he started his sit out in 2001.

David also revealed his charities for 2017 which are : 

The Boom Foundation
Autism – Causeway Coast Branch
Cancer Research UK
Riding For The Disabled
Action Cancer

In a social media post after the event David Boyle MBE posted :

Teresa and I are just back from the caring caretaker cheque presentation at the Lodge Hotel and a total of £39’000 pounds was presented to six charities tonight.

I would like to thank the Rev Robert Mcmullan, Denis A McNeill, Darren Pollock, Geoffrey Moffett, Ian Magee and all at the Coleraine Police Station, Go Q Radio, The Coleraine Times, The Coleraine Chronicle, Colin Bond, Moores Of Coleraine and to all that helped in any way.  To those who gave a donation, a special thank-you.

Thank-you to Teresa and my family. And also a special thanks to my friend Hannah Reid, we all make a difference. My total from 2001 is £524’571’25 pence. Thank You
