In a social media post, a PSNI spoksersperson said “Officers from Coleraine Neighbourhood Policing Team were alerted that a male got disqualified from driving at court yesterday and the team conducted patrols of the area.

Low and behold that very same driver left court and duly stepped into his car . After a short pursuit  the male abandoned the car and was captured within 300 metres!  He was arrested and a dangerous disqualified driver removed from our roads.

The car that he “wasn’t driving” has been seized and also given a lift to custody

The driver is getting some PSNI B&B for the weekend”
