The Honourable The Irish Society is providing financial support for three years to the Causeway Business Education Partnership Career Convention. This career convention is open to all Year 12 pupils in the Causeway Coast and Glens Borough area and will be held on 10th March in the Lodge Hotel, Coleraine.
To date the Careers Convention has attracted over 40 exhibitors including local employers, Regional Colleges, Training Providers, Universities and University Colleges from Northern Ireland, the Republic and the U.K. Mainland and the Army, Navy and Fire Service. The pupils will have the opportunity to meet on a one-to-one basis with possible future employers and higher education providers.
Edward Montgomery, The Honourable The Irish Society said: “We are delighted to support this career initiative by the Causeway Business Education Partnership for the next three years. It is very important our young people are made fully aware of all the opportunities available to them on leaving school”
David Grainger, Chairman Causeway Business Education Partnership said: “It is great to have The Honourable The Irish Society as a sponsor again this year and have their commitment to sponsor for three years. This career convention will greatly benefit all our Year 12 pupils throughout the Causeway area and help them to focus on possible career and further education opportunities”.
