The Virtual Bushmills Banquet hits the right note!

The Bushmills Business Association have paid tribute to all those who participated and promoted the Virtual Banquet on Friday 12th June. The event was a superb celebration of the delicious food and drink which can be found in and around Bushmills but also demonstrated other skills within the group.

Participants included producers from the Naturally North Coast and Glens market with an unexpected performance from ‘The Lamps’ featuring Tartine Head Chef Stephen Lampard and his beautiful and talented wife Adele and a romantic riverside performance by the equally talented Ruairidh and Melanie from North Coast Smokehouse, who managed to unearth a piece of music called ‘Bushmills Fancy’, which they played against the stunning backdrop.

Chairman Roy Bolton said;

“The Banquet was important for local businesses to keep their names out there and give viewers a reminder of what they are missing in anticipation of re-opening.

“The viewing figures so far are almost 20K which has far exceeded our expectations.

“We have seen comments from all over the world as well as support from our own village.

The credit for that coverage is primarily thanks to Causeway Coast Community and McAuley Multimedia but also our cross posting partners ; Taste Causeway, Discover NI, Naturally North Coast and Glens Artisan Market, Causeway Coast & Glens Councils Visit Causeway, Food NI and Giants Causeway social media platforms. Even the promotion was a collaborative effort’.
