Thieves steal Saw Head from Digger in Garvagh area

Police are appealing for information following the theft of a saw head in the Garvagh area.

Constable Carlin said : “It was reported that between the hours of 10.00am on Tuesday 18th October and 10.30am on Wednesday 19th October, a yellow Vemac Saw Head was stolen from an orange Hitachi 135 digger that was parked on Kurin Lane, Ballynameen Road in the Garvagh area.

We are appealing to anyone who may have any information regarding this incident or to anyone who may have been offered such an item for sale in suspicious circumstances to contact Limavady Police Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 433 on 19/10/16. Or, alternatively if anyone would prefer to provide information without providing their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
