The famous Red Arrows will be paying a double visit to Portrush in September for the town’s annual airshow. The best aerobatic team in the world has again made the seaside event a priority in its busy season with full displays on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd September.

Air Waves Portrush has established itself as the premier air festival in the land and the decision by the “Reds” to make two visits emphasises the significance of the free, all-ages festival.

A spokesperson said “It is likely that this announcement with be the first of several RAF displays leading to another quality line-up for the event which forms part of the events programme delivered by Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council.”
