Two killed in Co Antrim RTC named locally

A man and woman in their 20’s who died at the scene of a road traffic collision yesterday have been named locally as – Andrew Burke and Naomi Lynn.

The collision happened on the Duneany Road in Glarryford, near Ballymena, around 2.05pm on Wednesday,19th February 2020.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have been on the Duneany Road yesterday afternoon, prior to or around the time of the collision, or anyone who recorded any dashcam or mobile phone footage that could potentially help their investigation to get in touch on 101 quoting reference number CCS 853 190220.

A notice on funeral times reads : BURKE, ANDREW JAMES (ANDY) – February 19, 2020, suddenly as a result of a road traffic accident. Late of 4 Caulside Park, Antrim.
Dearly beloved son of John and Elaine, loving brother of Christopher and wife Jenna and Jack and grandson of Betty.

A Service of Thanksgiving for Andy’s life will be held in Bairds Funeral Home on Monday 24th February at 11am and afterwards to Belmont Cemetery.
