TWO men are charged in relation to a series of break-ins at sheds and household garages in the Portrush area.
The two accused are David Leighton (28), of Atlantic Road, Coleraine and Daniel Leighton (20), of Glenshesk Park, Portrush.
A prosecutor told a court the full file is still to be received at his department from police.
Defence solicitor Derwin Harvey said the alleged offences were burglaries of sheds and garages.
The charges relate to dates in July this year and include burglary, attempted burglary and criminal damage.
Charges faced by David Leighton include having a Stanley Knife, screwdriver and a pair of garden secateurs for use in burglary.
He is also charged with possessing diazepam.
Both defendants are accused of stealing items including a lawnmower, gardening equipment and ‘a bag of nails’.
At Coleraine Magistrates Court, sitting in Ballymena on Monday October 12, the cases were adjourned to October 16.
