Two men have been charged with a total of 19 offences

Two men have been charged with a total of 19 offences between them in relation to drugs supply and are due to appear at Coleraine Magistrates Court on the morning of Friday 9 December.

A 48 year old man has been charged with 11 offences and a 39 year old man has been charged with eight offences, both including being concerned in the supply of class A and B controlled drugs and possessing and transferring criminal property. The 48 year old man’s charges also include possession of a firearm without a firearm certificate.

As is normal procedure all charges are reviewed by the PPS.

The two men were arrested in the Hazelbank Road and Pates Lane areas of Coleraine on Tuesday 6 December by detectives investigating the supply of controlled drugs on the North West and seizures of cocaine over the past year worth an estimated £600,000 in Belfast and Nutts Corner.
