Two Transferred To Hospital Following RTC

The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service received a 999 call at 09.51 on Friday 09 August 2019 relating to a two vehicle RTC at Mussenden Road, Articlave, Castlerock.

NIAS despatched three Emergency crews to the scene. The Charity Air Ambulance was also tasked to the incident.

Following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, one patient was air lifted to the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast while one other patientwas transferred by ambulance to the Causeway Hospital, Coleraine.
