Ulster Unionist Cllr Darryl Wilson welcomes demolition of Linenhall Quarter in Ballymoney.
Causeway Coast and Glens Councillor Darryl Wilson has welcomed the demolition works which are due to take place soon at the Linenhall Quarter in Ballymoney.
Speaking to Causeway Coast Community Councillor Darryl Wilson said ” For several decades parts of Linenhall Street, Charles Street and High Street have been allowed to slip into a state of dereliction. I have no doubt that this has had a negative impact on town centre growth, regeneration and tourism potential.
It is positive and encouraging news to learn that the investor who recently acquired the site has ordered demolition work to begin immediately. I, like many others from the local area look forward to seeing the site being fully redeveloped in the future.”
