Unattended Fishing Gear ‘Raises’ Alarm

1 Mins read

Unattended fishing gear raised an alarm yesterday evening around 7pm.

A spokesperson for Coleraine Coastguard Rescue Team said ” We responded to a report of three unattended fishing rods at the Blue Pool Portrush. The fishing tackle had been unattended for more than an hour when it was noticed by a concerned member of the public.”

As Coastguards arrived at the scene, the owner finally made himself known, completely unaware of the alarm he had caused.
