UUP proposal to not increase rates within Borough passed tonight at special Council meeting

The Ulster Unionist Party grouping on Causeway Coast and Glens Council proposed a 0% increase on the domestic rate.

A spokesperson said “tonight we proposed a 0% increase on the domestic rate within Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council, we are delighted that a majority backed our proposal.

A 0% increase will mean that Council staff and Councillors alike will have to find efficiencies to ensure that we remain within our decreased budgets while continuing to provide first class front line service for residents of the Borough.
