A spokesperson for Benvardin Kennels said “At 01.40am this morning someone driving a yellow farm tele handler pulled up at the front gates of Benvardin, they had approached from the Derrykeighan direction and using the bucket or forks they destroyed some of our security lights, ripping them off the wall and damaging both the above ground and underground cabling, after causing the destruction the tele handler returned in the direction of Derrykeighan.

All was caught on our CCTV. This act of vandalism has now left the Charity with quite a hefty bill for repairs that we would have much preferred to be spent on helping the animals.

This damage was not caused in passing but has been a planned attack. If you live locally and seen any vehicle matching this description acting strange in the early hours then please contact us on 07518 370478 or the PSNI on 101.
