Oran Kearney jets off to Slovenia today fully aware of the task that awaits.
Coleraine take on NK Maribor in the Europa League first qualifying round on Thursday.
It’s reward for last week’s crucial 1 0 victory over La Fiorita at the Showgrounds.
“It’s a huge step up in class from last week,” admitted Oran.
“We are going to have to be at our absolute best to get anything out of the game.
“It’s a big challenge but it’s what you want to be part of and we’re all looking forward to it.”
Between injury and unavailability, the Showgrounds chief has made a couple of tweeks to the squad.
But it will be pretty much along similar lines to last week.
The only disappointment was Sunday’s postponement of Maribor’s league game with Aluminij.
Kearney was hoping to get recent footage of their opponents to view.
“As it is our most recent video analysis is from back in July.
“But regardless we know the job that awaits us and we will be prepared.”
