Wetherspoons boss Tim Martin said that he will probably “look again” at Northern Ireland locations such as Londonderry, Ballymena and Coleraine in a few years time according to the Belfast Telegraph.

Weatherspoons sold five of its nine Northern Ireland pubs late last year to brothers Willis and Ryan McLaughlin who own the Granny Annie’s Group but boss Tim Martin refused to reveal how much the company made form the sale.

Speaking to the Belfast Telegraph Mr Martin said “I can’t say how much we sold the five pubs for as it’s up to the buyer to tell you, but what I can say is that what we plan to spend in Northern Ireland is more than we got from the sales,”.
