Wilson & Storey speak to Nolan Show about ongoing ‘Killer Clown’ craze

1 Mins read

DUP MLA Mervyn Storey and UUP Councillor Darryl Wilson spoke to Vinny Hurrel on the Nolan Show this morning to discuss the ongoing ‘Killer Clown’ craze.

This follows reports of Police being called to attend Dalriada School in Ballymoney yesterday due to threats posted on Social Media which named the school as a target of these so called ‘Killer Clowns’.

This incident follows an ongoing pattern of similar incidents. Coleraine Grammar School had been targeted on Friday and there were reports of teenagers dressed as clowns, brandishing knives in the Riverside Park area of Ballymoney that afternoon as well.

Both Councillor Wilson and MLA Storey have called for an end to these ‘pranks’ as they are causing a drain on Police resources, as well as causing distress to local residents.
