1 Mins read

A 74-year-old woman accused of theft has appeared at Coleraine Magistrates Court and denies the two charges she faces.

Avril Baird, of Landsdale Park in Dunaghy near Ballymoney, is accused of stealing £120 cash belonging to a female between New Year’s Eve last year and February 1 this year.

The second charge is that on dates between July 15 last year and February 15 this year she stole cash of an unknown value belonging to the same female.

On June 17 the case was adjourned to July to fix a date for a contest.
