Woman faces charges including possessing truncheon in park

A WOMAN charged with attempting to inflict grievous bodily harm on a male and female and possessing an offensive weapon – a wooden truncheon – in a park has had her case further adjourned.

Nicole McBride (27), with an address listed as Foundry Court in Coleraine, is also accused of making a threat to kill the female.

The charges relate to Anderson Park in Coleraine on June 29 last year.

She appeared via video link from prison at Coleraine Magistrates Court on January 13.

Defence barrister Alan Stewart said bail had previously been granted but a bail address had not been found.

The case has been adjourned to February 10.
