Woman taken to hospital following RTC on Straid Road, Bushmills

Firefighters from Coleraine and Portrush responded to reports of a Road Traffic Collision on the Straid Road area of Bushmills on Sunday afternoon.

A Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service (NIFRS) received a call at 2:47pm to a report of a one vehicle road traffic collision at the Straid Road area of Bushmills on Sunday 28th August.

“2 Fire Appliances from Coleraine Fire Station and one Fire Appliance from Portrush Fire Station were deployed to the scene. One woman was out of the vehicle upon arrival of Firefighters. The woman was taken to hospital for her injuries.

“Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service finished at the scene at 3:06pm.”
