Woman who stole purse and cash receives, according to Courts Service, a one year conditional discharge

A 62-year-old woman who stole, according to a charge sheet, a female’s ‘purse and cash to the value of £350,’ has been given a one-year conditional discharge.

Margaret Jennifer Gibson, with an address listed as Trinity Drive, Ballymoney, was charged with theft in relation to December 6, 2019.

At Coleraine Magistrates Court, sitting in Ballymena, on Thursday the defendant received a one year conditional discharge and was also ordered to pay £60 in compensation, according to the Courts Service.
