Police are appealing for information following a hit-and-run road traffic collision in the Moycraig Road area of Bushmills yesterday morning, Wednesday 6 July.
Sergeant Thompson said: “At approximately 11.40am we received a report that a silver coloured Kia Ceed and a silver Mercedes had been involved in a collision, with one of the drivers making off from the scene on foot.
“One man was taken to hospital for treatment for his injuries.
“A man in his 50’s was subsequently arrested a short time later on suspicion of dangerous driving.
“I would ask anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who may have dash-cam footage is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 723 of 06/07/22.
