A MAN in his early 20's has died in the Gobbins Road area of Islandmagee after emergency services were called to reports of an incident involving a tractor this afternoon.
Police, fire service, ambulance personnel, and the charity Air Ambulance attended the incident.
In a statement to Causeway Coast Community a spokesperson for the Health and Safety Executive said "HSENI are making enquiries into an incident which took place in the Islandmagee area earlier today.
“We are working to establish the facts surrounding the incident.”
A NIAS spokesperson further said "The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service received a 999 call at 12:16 on Wednesday 15 September following reports of an incident on the Gobbins Road area, Larne.
"NIAS despatched the Charity Air Ambulance and two Rapid Response paramedics to the incident. No one was taken from the scene."
A PSNI spokesperson confirmed that the death is not being treated as suspicious.
The spokesperson said "Police have advised the Health and Safety Executive and will provide assistance with their investigation."
UPDATE: 18:00HRS - The man has been named locally as Bradley Beck.
In a social media post, Jonny Beck said "The best wee brother I could have ever asked for, missed forever and always love you millions."
Another said "I am so sorry to hear this news today. Bradley was an absolute gentleman. Thoughts and love from all at the Cairn Road, Jonny Angela and Family"
