Motorist is accused of using hand-held mobile

A WOMAN is accused of using a hand-held mobile phone whilst driving at Frys Road in Ballymena.

Claire Gilchrist (30), of Churchill Avenue, Cloughmills, is charged in relation to January 3 this year.

The case was mentioned at Ballymena Magistrates Court on Thursday where the defence solicitor was Nigel McIlrath.

The case was adjourned to February 27.
