Second man arrested following burglary in Ballymena

Police investigating a burglary at a jewellers in Ballymena on Saturday 20th June arrested a 31-year-old man.

Inspector Reid said: “The male was arrested on suspicion of theft and remains in police custody, as well as an 18 year old man also arrested as part of the investigation.

“Enquiries are continuing and we would appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 859 20/06/20.
