The campaign to save Benvardin Kennels is well on it’s way to reaching it’s target of £45,000, needed as a deposit to purchase the site that houses the Animal Shelter.
The site was put for sale at the end of January and almost instantly a fundraising campaign sprung in to life. Within a few short weeks there has been over £32,000 raised, including money raised from fundraising events such as a table quiz and a street collection, as well as a £3,000 donation by a local woman.
The money must be raised by March 20th.
