Ballymoney man attacked with baseball bats.

Police have put out an appeal for information following an assault in Carnany Drive, Ballymoney at 8:05pm on Sunday evening.

The victim was attacked by four masked men using baseball bats and is currently in hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening and police believe that the incident could be paramilitary related.

Detective Chief Inspector Catherine Magee said: “I would ask anyone with any information about this incident to contact CID at Coleraine Police Station on 0800 555 111. Or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
