A fire that broke out near Stranocum yesterday has been tacked by Fire Crews from across the Province.
Four Hay sheds went up in flames on the Moyan Road at around 3pm yesterday afternoon. At it’s height, the blaze was being tackled by 8 fire crews, including a water carrier from Pomeroy and a High Volume Pump from Belfast.
The farmer and his friends helped to transport water to the scene and their efforts have been praised by The Fire Service.
The fire is being treated as accidental.
