Applications are invited from Civil Engineering Contractors who are experienced in the construction of Environmental Improvement works and who wish to be considered for inclusion in a Restricted List of Contractors from which tenders will be sought for the Portstewart Environmental Improvement Scheme.

The proposed works include; the installation of new kerbing, footways, shared spaces in concrete or asphalt/bitumen macadam products, street lighting, street furniture, landscaping, signage and associated works. The works are to be completed in a live town centre environment with associated phasing requirements and an emphasis on health and safety.

The estimated capital value of the works is £1,250,000.00. The Contract period will be approx.

5 months starting in September 2015.

The pre-qualification process including minimum standards requirements are detailed in the Stage 1 documentation which can be requested by e-mail from [email protected]

All relevant submissions to be received on or before Friday the 17th April 2015 12.00 noon and returned to [email protected]

The Council’s decision on the Restricted List shall be final and it does not bind itself to invite tenders.
