Shots fired in Ballysally.

There have been reports that shots were fired in the Glenvara Drive area of the Ballysally estate in Coleraine at approximately 2:30am this morning.

Police were quick to get to the scene and quickly confirmed that nobody was injured nor was any damage caused to houses in the surrounding area. It is believed that the shots were fired nearby the home of a 60+ year old man.

Police have asked anyone with information to contact them on the non-emergency number 101, or contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
