1 Mins read

A 34 year old man and a 30 year old woman have been charged with a range of offences including making or supplying articles for use in fraud, possessing articles infringing copyright, unauthorised use of a trademark and concealing criminal property.

Both are expected to appear at Magherafelt Magistrates court on 15 July 2020.

As is usual procedure the charges will be reviewed by the PPS.

The charges follow an operation by Mid Ulster CID detectives along with local uniform officers in Bellaghy which uncovered a substantial online fraud involving the sale of illegal subscriptions for TV channels and broadcasters.
