BREAKING : RAF engineer is killed when Red Arrows Hawk jet crashes on runway

An engineer has died after an aircraft used by the Red Arrows display team crashed at RAF Valley on Anglesey.

The RAF confirmed the pilot of the Hawk aircraft survived and was receiving treatment in hospital.

A spokesperson said  “We are aware of an incident today at RAF Valley involving a Hawk aircraft. We are currently investigating the incident.
