BREAKING : Two Killed In Road Traffic Collision – Dungannon Road, Moy

Two people have died following a three vehicle road traffic collision on the Dungannon Road, Moy.

It is understood the incident happened shortly after 2pm.    NIAS sent five crews to the scene, including a doctor and a rapid-response paramedic.

Five others were involved in the incident. It is believed that three were transferred to a nearby hospital for treatment which at this time their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

A police spokesperson said “Two men have died following a three vehicle RTC on the Dungannon Rd just outside Moy around 1.40pm this afternoon. A man and 2 women were also injured.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision to contact officers on 101 quoting reference 699 03/02/19.”

A spokesperson for Mid Ulster Sinn Féin said : ‘Our sincerest condolences go to the families of all involved at this sad time.’

Michelle Gildernew, Sinn Fein MP for Fermanagh and South Tyrone, said: “News of a serious road collision between Dungannon and the Moy has shocked the local community. My thoughts are with all of those involved and their families at this time.”

The road remains closed.
