Concerns growing for Missing Man Christopher Johnston

Police and the family of missing person, 26 year old Christopher Johnston, are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

Christopher is from the Bangor area and was last seen there at about 3.30pm on Thursday 1 September. It is believed that he went to the Castle Place area of Newtownards at the time but may now been in other areas such as Belfast, Lisburn Downpatrick or the North Coast.

Christopher is described as being approximately 5’11” tall, with short dirty fair hair, a beard and a tattoo on his neck saying “Nicky”. When last seen he was wearing a grey hooded top with blue stripes, navy jeans and white trainers.

Constable McAllister said: “I would ask Christopher, or anyone who knows of his whereabouts, to contact Newtownards Police Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 165 of 02/09/16.”
