Man dies following road traffic collision near Bangor

Police can confirm that a 56-year-old man has sadly died following a road traffic collision on the Belfast Road, Bangor, yesterday evening (Friday 20 March).

The two-vehicle collision involved a Renault Captur and a motorcycle, and was reported to police just after 5.30pm.

The motorcyclist was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision, or who was driving in the area and has dash cam footage, to contact them on 101 quoting reference number 1215 of 20/03/20.
